Taskin' II

Seeing things in the positive is usually my thing. I'm a kinda' optimist with a doze of realism (in other words pessimism). Recently a great black hole occurred in my mind, specifically in the area that I use as a storage for all the things causing a smile; any smile. But I'm recovering; the happy tissues in my brain are growing back;). Who or what is responsible for this miracle? Here are the main factors: 1. My Super Best Friends! 2. My everyday bystanders! 3. My ride! 4. My addiction to music!
Ad 1. There is a long list of my 'Zioms' (with DD, Stasiu, and Słoma at front) that no matter what happens are with me and support me all the way.
Ad 2. The people that are my fellow students and bystanders in the quest for reaching the 'end'
Ad 3. Driving my red 'Ferrari' (sometimes quite fast but not furiously) gives me a great deal of happiness and relaxation.
Ad 4. I?m a Dream Theater freak, a progressive metal fan, a hard rocking carnall (not a playing one);P
These "somethings" make me see some other things in the positive!

Infamous 'Pollak'

There are many famous Poles, who deserve their place in the history of mankind. But there are also people that have their roots in Poland but it seems like they were born in hell. Here is a link to the story of Richard 'The Iceman' Kuklinski a man of the Gambino mob:

Life... goes on! (flows on)

I wanted to write something personall about how my heart was ripped out of my rib cage, thrown into the toilet and flushed down the drain, but I won't!; 'Freedom to choose, everybody should have it' (Give me back all the hope!!!) Enough! Seems that I have lost a great deal of my sickened optimism. Sorry for that my friends and thanks for being with me all the way! Yeah! Maciej, Pszemo, Paweł, we goota make some bottles carrying the transparent 'percentage juice' become empty vessels! Who wanna join in?;p

Taskin':)

This entry is devoted to the task on reading books (or 'the' book)

In my case the first 'real book' that I came across was Mary Shelly's 'Frankenstein'(Yeah!). It was hell of a choice, however after all the readers I went through earlier, I thought it would be an ultimate challenge. Before reading it I thought I knew the story: a guy brings to life a monster, which becomes an outcast from the society. After a few chapters I realized that the book carries a large amount of emotions, tells a story of revenge, and 'reveals the terrifying consequences of playing God'. (immagination was starting to run wild;)) I started reading it in the summer break after leaving high school but finished it being a first-year student at KJO. It took me a while, but still it was a quite pleasant challenging experience.

Collapse...

I won't shiver in the cold
I won't let the shadows take their toll
I won't cover my head in the dark
And I won't forget you when we part

Collapse the Light Into Earth

I won't heal given time
I won't try to change your mind
I won't feel better in the cold light of day
But I wouldn't stop you if you wanted to stay

Collapse the Light Into Earth

This is the lyrics of one of many musicall 'wonders' by Porcupine Tree, a quite productive progressive metal (rock) band. This song can make one cry, can make one smile, can make me remember about what is unforgettable. Together with 'Trains' it tops my list of favorites. one philosopher...

This time I decided to write down some of my yet so 'bright' thoughts concerning our philosophy lecture. Sitting there and asking myself what the heck is going on in the room, I come across some nutcase-like visions. Recentlu the talk was about whether a philosopher who went out of a 'cave' should go back to it. The answer may be 'no'. People went out of caves quite a while ago, they left some drawings there, but they never came back to take them (;p), they moved on. This philosopher, who somehow experienced his enlightenment will never be able to return to the 'pure', not knowing status from before his 'eureka'. Even if he had made a hole in his head using a driller or whatever, he wouldn't get rid of the experience (if he had lived it through). Going back to the 'cave' would therefore make no greater sense as it would be a simple mistification; cheating oneself; trying to escape from the consequences of leaving the cave in the first place... And the lecture comes to an end and I can go home!

Unforgettable...

"The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand,
nor the kindly smile nor the joy of companionship;
it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when
he discovers that someone else believes in him
and is willing to trust him."
Ralph Waldo Emerson
